1. Bookings open 30 days (1 month) prior to the date of booking. Rooms will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. All payments shall be made by Cash/UPI in Mumbai to the Merchant Navy Officers’ Welfare Fund.

2. The Convalescent Home is meant for the officer and his/her dependent family members only. Also, the officer’s accompanying family members must produce their valid ID cards at the time of check-in.

3. Officers are requested to use the Convalescent Home amenities with due care, just as they would use the facilities at their own residence. Proper precautions must be taken while operating electrical/electronic items.

4. Once the room(s) is/are allotted, the complete address and caretaker’s telephone/mobile number shall be provided to the officer for convenience.

5. Members are requested to use the dining hall to have their meals, etc., and not use the living room for this purpose.

6. Please handle linen with care. Charges for badly stained, misused or missing linen will be recovered from the security deposit. If the damage exceeds the security deposit, the balance amount shall be paid to the Merchant Navy Officers’ Welfare Fund by the beneficiary.

7. Children above 12 years of age shall be allotted an extra room, and the applicable charges shall be payable.

8. Once a booking is confirmed, cancellation and postponement of the booking will not be permitted. booking charges, if applicable, shall be non-refundable.

9. No pets are permitted inside the Convalescent Home.

10. The Management reserves the right to change the allotted room to any other room, without prior notice to the officer, whenever considered necessary.

11. No transfer of booking will be allowed.

12. There is no parking facility available at Convalescent Homes. Parking, if there is any, shall be entirely at the user’s own risk.

13. Once booked, the Convalescent Home booking is subject to the above terms and conditions, including the no-cancellation and no-postponement policy.
